Eco-counselling Enterprise offers the combined expertise of 25 consultants in the field of Environmental Management Systems (EMAS/ISO 14001) and sustainable development within 10 European countries as well at international level.
The Modell Hohenlohe incorporated society is a strong non-profit community of enterprises. The NGO is located in the region "Hohenlohe", which is a part of the federal state Baden-Württemberg in the south-west of Germany. The network actually consists of 180 enterprises. It has been found in 1991 in order to avoid the construction of a hazardous waste incinerator in the region.
Today's main goal of the Modell Hohenlohe is to help its members saving and earning money with environmental protection activities. Therefore the central field of activity is the creation of learning networks in themes of - environmental management systems (EMAS and EMASeasy convoy approach), - energy efficiency tables, - material efficiency and resources protection.
Actually the Modell Hohenlohe is German wide a successful showcase for the creation of learning networks and one of the market leading NGOs in the sector of energy efficiency tables in Germany.
In 2007 the Modell Hohenlohe installed and validated EMAS according to the new EMASeasy methodology as the first NGO in Germany.
In 2008 the Modell Hohenlohe has extended its activities on an European level by participating in the European Commission's Leonardo da Vinci project "Be Smarter". In the same year the Modell Hohenlohe became an ECE shareholder.
